Last August, we welcomed Linda Donan, from America to talk about her experiences in the Middle East and share some of the delicious cooking she learned there.
We learned how to make hummus, khobiz, cucumber salad, shorba, and more. The flavors were new and unfamiliar but delicious nonetheless.
Everyone was excited to hear about differences in lifestyle and culture in Qatar. We heard some things that were surprising and some that were shocking. In the end we gained more awareness and appreciation for life in other countries and added some new culinary ideas to our repertoire.
